Modic easy-peel resin is a polyolefin-based polymer alloy chemically modified with a polymerizable vinyl monomer, with a phase structure in which the vinyl polymer is dispersed evenly and finely within the polyolefin. It is a resin used as easy-peel sealant and modifying material.

1. When used as an easy-peel sealant

• Gives smooth peeling and a clean peeled surface with no stringing.
• Gives stable peel strength over a wide range of heat sealing temperatures from low to high.

2. When used as a modifying material

• Styrene, acrylic ester, vinyl acetate etc. can be selected for the vinyl monomer, giving a wide range of properties.

• Easy-peel sealant (plastic container lids, polyethylene-grade paper containers lids, double-sided seals etc.)
• Material for electrical wires (free strip material in external semi-conductive layer etc.)
• Polymer blend compatibilizer, polymer modifying material
